Healthcare and Social Work Career Fair Purpose

Healthcare and Social Work Career Fair is an annual event that brings together Healthcare and Social Work Employers, Recruiters, educators, students, government and job seekers to understand the sectors job Opportunities and skills required.

The career fair is used to exhibit current Healthcare and Social Work-related job openings and also help other stakeholders to understand the skills needs of employers. This is part of the broader agenda to ensure an enabling environment is created for young people to access decent jobs, so they benefit from the Healthcare and Social Work labour shortage.

The Career Fair will also be used as a platform to promote the International Conference on Healthcare and Social work which shall take place at the same location from June 20 to 21, as 30 employers are expected to showcase their products and services while hiring new employees to join their teams. As part of the program, there will be seminars and workshops on CV preparation, entrepreneurship, business development and emerging positions in the two sectors that are in high demand.
